Scott Pettit, 56, of Hiram Township Ohio, passed away at home with his wife by his side on Thursday, November 24, 2022. Scott was born May 13, 1966, in Ravenna, Ohio, to the late Shannon and Cora "Louise" (Layne) Pettit.
He was a supervisor at Bock Lighting in Twinsburg, Ohio, for 10 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with friends and family.
Scott will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Kristen (Holdsworth) Pettit; sons, James (Samantha) Pettit and Patrick Pettit; grandchildren, Bryson Pettit, James Pettit, and Kaleigha Pettit; siblings, Sonny McCollam, Danny Pettit, Alan McCollam, and Pamela (Marshall) Murphy, as well as many nephews, nieces, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Douglas McCollam and Stephen McCollam.
Per Scott's wishes, he is to be buried in the family plot in West Virginia. The family would like to invite friends to the graveside service, which will be Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 2:00 P.M., at Duffield Cemetery, located at 19030 Obrion Creek Rd., Duck, West Virginia. Services for Scott were entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231.
