Valoyce G. McGill, age 89 of Sharon Township, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017
at Summa Barberton Hospital. She was born on July 11, 1927 to Virgil E. Curtis and Constance E. (nee McNeal) Curtis. She was a devoted homemaker. She was married to Richard Lee McGill from November 21, 1947 until his passing on June 17, 2013.
Valoyce will be dearly missed by her children; Susan (William) Goodrich, Tim McGill, Linda Robey, and Barry (Lori) McGill, grandchildren; Bill (Kate) Goodrich, Amy (Adam) Mezzacapo, Jim (Katlyn) McGill, Jennifer (Mike) Weber, April (Kyle) Goodwin, Matt (Michelle) Robey, great-grandchildren; Haylie, Olivia, Adalyn, Caleb, Cailyn, Harper, Meghan, Molly, Lucy, Jamie and Ian, also her brother, Dale (Faye) Curtis and sister-in-law Marilyn Curtis. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Gerald Curtis and son-in-law, Jeffrey Robey.
All Services are private. Valoyce will be buried with her husband in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman/Seville, Ohio. Arrangements were entrusted with Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx & Rt. 18), Medina, Ohio 44256. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Susan G. Komen for the Cure-Northeast Ohio, 26210 Emery Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44128.
