VIRGINIA A. "BUG" RAMAGE
June 26, 1933 — October 24, 2013
Virginia A. “Bug” Ramage (nee Sorenson) age 80, of Brunswick, passed away October 11, 2013 in Middleburg Heights, OH. She was born in West Brownsville, Pennsylvania to Gay and Daniel Sorenson on June 26, 1933.
Ginny married Robert W. Ramage on March 10, 1951. They moved to Brunswick in 1957 where they raised their six children. She was a devoted wife and mother. Cooking, holiday baking, sewing, family picnics and summer trips to the Outer Banks kept her busy. Once the kids were grown, she enjoyed her work as a teller at Old Phoenix National Bank, and traveling with Bob around the country. Upon retirement, she and Bob moved to Port Charlotte, Florida. They enjoyed the sun and leisure time until Bob’s death in 2010. Thereafter, she returned to live in Medina County.
Ginny is survived by her children, Ginny Lee Feltman, Terri Ramage-Louis, Babs (Dave) Ramage, Bob Jr. (Dorothy) Ramage, Lisa (Lou) Merrell, Leslie (Andy) Namoski; grandchildren, Kellie, Jena, Megan, Rachel, Josh, Becky, Drew, Alee “Kat”, and Patrick; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Gavin, Kadyn, Matthew, Laila and Arabella.
She was preceeded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 59 years, Robert; and brothers, Danny and Bill Sorenson. A private inurnment will be held at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick, OH at a later date. Pastor Bob Spaulding of Brunswick United Methodist Church will be officiating.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (½ mile South of Route 303), Brunswick.
