VIRGINIA "GINNY" OVERTON
November 2, 1928 — December 9, 2013
Virginia “Ginny” Overton (nee Bremer), age 85, of Brunswick, OH, passed away on December 8, 2013. She was the daughter of Albert and Mayme (nee Snavely) Bremer. She was born on November 2, 1928 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many who enjoyed spending time with her family. Ginny enjoyed her home based craft business.
She will be dearly missed by her loving children, Greta (Chuck) Weir, Randal and Roger (Kathy); grandchildren, Ryan (Karla) Weir, Lexi and Erika Overton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil “CJ”; son, Jerel; her parents; sister, Josephine (Glen) Taylor; brother, Charles (Jane) Bremer.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. Pastor Tom Shaw will be officiating. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to National Alliance Mental Illness (N.A.M.I.), 3671 Ascot Dr., Brunswick, Ohio 44212 or Hospice of Medina County, 5075 Windfall Road, Medina, Ohio 44256.
