William M. Hopwood, age 64, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away on May 1, 2014. He was born on December 9, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio to Ernest and Josephine (nee Schneider) Hopwood.
William was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Vietnam where he received the Bronze Star Medal.
He will be missed by his beloved sisters Donna (Thomas) Johnstone, Alison (Mike) Doherty; brother James; nieces and nephews, Ian, Kyle, and Cameron Johnstone, Michael, Shannon, and Kristen Doherty.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
Arrangements were entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212.
