WILLIAM L. RUFFING
April 20, 1939 — May 7, 2021
William Ruffing, 82, of Garrettsville, joined his Lord and Savior as he passed peacefully at home Friday, May 7th, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 20, 1939 in Garrettsville to Herman and Leeta (nee Wright) Ruffing.
Living to the age of 82 his life was filled with the work of his hands that he loved, farming with his son, operating Ruffing's Greenhouse alongside his beloved wife Judy, driving school bus and doing electrical work.
Bill will be deeply missed by his children, Rick (Deanne) Ruffing and Debbie (John) Kostrub; grandchildren, Samantha Kostrub, and Garrett & Bryant Lavigna; Special sister-in-law and brother-in-law Diane and Paul Gano, their daughter Kim (Bob) Leigh, and many loving nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Judy, in May of 2016; his parents, and sisters, Elizabeth and Helen, brother-in-law Clint and niece Susan.
The family would like to thank Sis and the entire group of caregivers for their tireless love, compassion, and companionship to Bill and his family. In memory of Bill, take a moment to appreciate all the beauty that surrounds us, the birds, the trees, the flowers, and fields. As Dad would say, "The wonders of the Lord".
A Mass of Christian Burial has been held with a Graveside Service at his final resting place in Park Cemetery. All services were entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 8382 Center St. Garrettsville Ohio 44231.
