Wilma Pelka (nee Juriga) age 91, of Brunswick, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Lifecare of Medina, following a lengthy illness.
Wilma was born in Flushing, Ohio on January 28, 1928 to John and Mary (nee Bobas) Juriga.
She was a member of the Brunswick Car Club, and enjoyed canning, especially fruit and vegetables, jigsaw puzzles, going for walks, cooking the best vegetable soup ever and spending time with family and friends.
Wilma is survived by her loving sons, Stanley (Linda) Pelka and David Pelka, both of Medina; and 2 grandchildren.
Wilma is preceded by her dear husband William Pelka; brothers, Emil, Steve, William, John, Joe, and Steve Juriga.
The family will receive friends for Wilma on Monday, June 10, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery, Brunswick.
