Angela Vento, an amazing and beautiful woman, cherished by all who knew her, passed away on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024, at Medina Hospital, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Born on June 6th, 1959, Angela’s legacy is one of compassion, laughter, and an endless capacity to nurture and uplift those around her.
Angela was not just an amazing daughter to Concetta DiSorbo (mother) and Vito Vento (father), sister, mother, and grandmother; she was also a mother, a friend, and a confidant to every person fortunate enough to have been touched by her presence. Her ability to make anyone laugh and smile, regardless of the circumstances, was nothing short of miraculous. Angela's selflessness shone brightly, always putting others before herself, making her a truly remarkable woman whose influence will be sorely missed.
She is survived by her loving family who was the entirety of her world: her daughter Maria Carmela Donofrio and her grandsons, Nicholas Matthew Szucs and Cameron Christopher Szucs, as well as Angela’s brother, Giuseppe Vento. Each of them embodies Angela’s spirit of love, empathy, and joy, carrying forward her legacy into the future.
The family extends an invitation to all who were touched by Angela’s light to join in celebrating her memory. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 19th, at St. Ambrose Church in Brunswick. Attendees are invited to gather at 10AM to share memories and pay respects, with a mass to follow at 11AM, commemorating a life lived with immense love.
