Harmon Francis Jarvis, age 81, of Brunswick, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. He was born on April 2, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Marie (nee Hollis) and Hardon Brooks Jarvis.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James Jarvis.
He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Judy Jarvis; his children, Richard (Jackie) and Debbie Jarvis; grandchildren, Dr. Stephanie (Greg) Murphy and Dylan Pack; great-granddaughter, Kennedy Murphy; brother, Jack (Sue) Jarvis; sisters, Grace Whitcomb and Cheryl Tieri; and brother-in-law, Scot (Anni) McClung.
Harmon was married to his beloved wife Judy for 61 wonderful years. Their love story began when they were very young adults, and from the moment they met, Harmon knew Judy was his moon and stars. He placed her on a pedestal and dedicated his life to making her happy, doing absolutely anything and everything for her.
Harmon was a dedicated and hardworking man, spending many years in food management where he earned a reputation as a diligent and reliable worker. His commitment to his work was only surpassed by his commitment to his family.
As a father, Harmon was nothing short of extraordinary. His children knew him as a guide and a source of unwavering support. His role as a grandfather brought out the best in him, and he relished every moment spent with his grandchildren.
Among his family, Harmon shared a particularly special bond with his great-granddaughter, Kennedy. She lovingly called him "Papa Senior the Raspberry Man," a testament to the joy and unique connection they shared.
Harmon's legacy of love, dedication, and hard work will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a family that will always cherish the memories and the love he so generously shared.
A Celebration of Life will be on August 23 at 12:00 P.M. at Eastlawn Memory Gardens 2869 Grafton Road Brunswick Ohio 44212 with a luncheon to follow immediately at the Shenandoah Village Clubhouse at 1058 Lake Meadow Lane Brunswick, Ohio 44212.
