Linda Mae (Stewert) Frost, 72, of Medina, passed away on July 9, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She lost her battle with cancer, Cancer sucks.
Linda was born on March 30, 1951, in Cleveland. She worked for Maury’s Fruit Baskets for years, then went back to school to work in the medical field. She retired 12 years ago and was able to enjoy life without working. She loved going to lunches with family and friends. She enjoyed reading, watching the nature in her yard, watching Cleveland sports (well not so much the Browns anymore), crocheting, but never for herself always for someone else. She enjoyed her vacations on the beach watching Hollis on the boogie board, drink in hand and a good book. Linda loved the holidays with her family, especially Thanksgiving. That was her showcase holiday for her cooking talent to cook for all her family. Her chocolate chip cookies are to die for. She did pass her recipe down, so don’t worry, her granddaughter, Ashley, will carry it on.
Linda is preceded in death by her father William Stewert, her mother Jean Martin, and her stepson Hollis Matthew Frost.
She is survived by her loving husband, Hollis Frost; four children, Lynn Bozak (Bob), Denise Ledenican (Jeremy), Chuck Hale (Carrie), and Thomas Hale (Lisa); 10 grandchildren, Ashley Perry Colon (Angel), Michelle Gonzalez (Edwin), Veronica Perry (Ben), Gregory O’Dell (Samantha), Ryan O’Dell (Amber), Clayton O’Dell (Caroline), Brett Hale, Kaitlyn Hale, Sabastian and Zachary Hale; 8 Greatgrandchildren, Aliana, Analise, Alec, Elliot, EJ, Paxton, Lily and Credence with baby Mae arriving in November; 1 sister Sheila Stewert. Linda was very proud of her family, and made each one of them feel special, she loved them all dearly.
Linda’s charm, sense of humor, unselfish, generosity, love and her beautiful smile and personality will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date, with details on Facebook.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest a pay it forward in Linda’s honor. It could be big or small, she did it all.
