LINDA READ

Linda Read, 73, of Garrettsville, OH, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 22, 2024. She was born August 2, 1951 to the late Willis and Alice (nee Gough) Read.  

She was born and raised in Garrettsville, and was a proud graduate of James A. Garfield High School. Linda worked at Sajar Plastics before retiring. She enjoyed Reiki, spending time with her classmates from high school, and being a resident of Garrettsville.  

Linda will be deeply missed by her son, Nathan Read; brother, Eric Read; nephew, Scott Read, as well as her large extended family, and her friends, who were like family.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Edward Read.  

Please join her family for a visitation Monday, December 30, 2024, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Linda will then be taken to Park Cemetery, where she will be lovingly laid to rest.
