Nancy Heffernan, 72, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023.
Poet Robert Frost wrote, “So dawn goes down to day, nothing gold can stay”. Fancy Nancy Heffernan, nee DeLong, passed peacefully in her sleep following a courageous journey to stay gold. Her strength, determination, and perseverance serve as guidelights for her daughter, Kristen, and soulmate, John. She deeply cherished relationships with her sister Sally, niece Lovesong, and nephew Fortune and family Misty, Caelyn, and Matt.
Nancy’s clever, witty, adventurous, creative, humble, and kind spirit will never be forgotten. She will be dancing eternally with the spirits of those who have departed before her.
In lieu of services, her daughter will organize a Celebration of Life event. Per Nancy's wishes, she is to be cremated. Services for Nancy were entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231.
